The Big Bunch Group program provides mentoring and recreation activities for children and youth currently waiting to be matched in our Community-Based program. Each month the Mentoring Coordinator will organize outings in the community for group members to participate in such as: bowling, art, sports, movies, and baking.

All group leaders have been fully screened, trained and approved according to National Standards laid out by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada.

Big Bunch Structure

  • Each volunteer is matched to 2-3 children or youth, and will drive them to and from the outings

  • Big Bunch runs three sessions per year: January-March, April-June and October-December

  • Group meets twice a month during a session

If you don't think you currently have the time to commit to a one-to-one match with a child, you will certainly enjoy the flexibility and shared responsibility of the Big Bunch Group Program!
